Captain Stu Windsor is an Ocean City fishing icon. In 1972, Captain Stu purchased his 31’ Bertram and began “Charter the LISA” in the mid 1970s. In 1983 he was featured in “Field and Stream” magazine, and later that year, he caught the biggest fish ever to be taken in Maryland.
He has won or placed in several Ocean City fishing tournaments in his illustrious career including the White Marlin Open, the Ocean City Tuna Tournament, the Mako Mania, and the OCMC Canyon Kickoff.
Captain Stu is the only Captain to win or place in every division of the White Marlin Open Tournament. His tournament winnings are literally too many to list. He is consistently on the board and in the money. Captain Stu is famous for saying, “It’s only what you put on the dock each day that matters.”
